Freeform Five vs. Isolee

I bought Misch Masch by Freeform Five cheap on CD recently – mostly for a couple of their big remixes that I used to play on vinyl about 15(!) years ago. But instead of playing those, I’ve had this remix of Brazil.com on repeat. Devoid of any rhythmic elements, it’s a lush combination of live strings, harps, synthetic sounds and haunting melodies on the bansuri flute, all of which make the original ‘techno’ version sound completely dull and meandering.
